What a Game!!!

The NCAA Basketball Championship game last night was truly a game of historic proportions. Big time comeback, last second shot, overtime and truly, the team with the most heart one.

It was awesome to see KU fight back from a deficit and never give up. To me it was just as awesome (in a negative way) to watch Memphis completely give up in the overtime.

More and more these days sports is just a run and gun, who has the best athletes and who sends the most people to the pros.

The Jayhawks this year were somewhat of an exception. No real superstar, 7 or 8 different guys who had been the leading scorer in a game throughout the season, a true team effort. They showed class and heart and work-ethic and intelligence and knowledge of the game. You just don't see that much anymore at any-level of sports.

I have had plans for a while to do a series on sports. I am not a super-knowledegable guy, but...

I have some opinions.

We will call it "For the Love of the Game...". Creative I am not.
