Need a ruling here..

I am really trying (since before Christmas) to eat healthier.

My wife brings a chocolate covered cheescake out last night that is just completely contradictory to my new diet ambitions.

So... My philosophy is "I should have several pieces of cheesecak each night to get the evil cheesecake out of our house sooner and me back on track"

My wife thinks 3 or 4 pieces of cheesecake a night is a bad idea.

We need input!!

Whoa.... we were eating dinner in Wichita last night and my husband ordered hot, carmallly, apple dumplings with ice cream - two bites, two bites and I was satisfied.... 11.5 lbs off since December - you cannot eat all the cheesecake in one night and stay healthy.... this is your mother speaking!!!!!

  3. you should know by know the wife is always right! eat the damn thing and bring me a slice! i have the same "problem" with my "sweettooth" of a wife! you will not win! just smile at her with each bite!

  4. I'm going to have to side with your mom on this one. Part of your new-found diet ambitions should be to enjoy desserts in moderation, not to fall off the wagon to then jump back on.

  5. Live life to the fullest! Do what makes you happy, and enjoy!. Unless your diet is for health specific needs, you can afford to waiver now and then. Once you hit your target weight, are you never going to enjoy the foods that make us fat?
