Customer Service Kicks Ass!!

Ok so I was driving to Manhattan Ks for a meeting. (Iam in parking lot right now on Alltel card posting this) and at Salina Ks I had to stop. (Mother Nature called, too much coffee)

So I stop and lock my car up cause was leaving laptop. Go do my biz and come back and remember that my son had lost the door key to my car this weekend at my daughters soccer tournament. Crap! Ok, no choice gotta make meeting on time, just call LockSmith.

So I bust out Blackberry, little mobile google search and call Burgess LockSmith in Salina KS.

Here's video while I waited:

They showed up so fast that I seriously thought they knew I was coming to Salina and had just stationed a guy at the truckstop for me. The Cust Service was incredible, the guy was friendly and EXCELLENT at his job (took him like 1 min. to break into my car) and the price seemed to cheap! (I will admit that now that i have payed him already)

So here's what I am asking... call them: Burgess LockSmith 785-825-4211 and just say "hey the moron you guys helped at the truck stop today said you guys were awesome and I wanted to say that awesome small businesses kick ass". no kidding do it (if u want 2) It will make you smile and give you a story to tell for today!! And they will appreciate it.

If you run a business know this... Customer Service and actually caring about your customers/clients matters.

  1. Hey, sorry you had to go through that but sounds like a good experience if you had to - ha! Just a thought - MY insurance company reinburses you for locksmiths if you have the receipt!! Just a little hint and good "customer service" from good insurance companies!!

  2. Hey Cody-glad you had a pleasant experience in good ole' Salina, KS. My son-in-law actually works for Burgess, although he was not the one who responded to your SOS. From everything I've heard in the year and a half that he's worked for them, the owners of Burgess are awesome. They treat their employees like family and and genuinely care about them. This should be a note to ALL employers also, care about your employees and they will care about you and your company. Then everyone-employers, staff and customers win.
