The AP lost one reader this week. I know they don't care. But they did.

The fact that the AP is embedding journalists with our Military is fine. Probably something we are never gonna change.

Not even something I want to discuss.

This has zero to day with how you feel about the war, zero to do with politics, zero to do with Republicans and Democrats. I am not questioning the medias "RIGHT" to take these type of pictures. Honestly I am not questioning their RIGHT to print the picture.

I am just saying they are a pile of assholes for ignoring the families requests. Period. When the bitch decided to dub in a sound track of small weapons fire into her slide show, it became completely apparent that sensationalizing the story for "effect" was a priority.

It became apparent that this was a way to gain page views instead of a way to deliver the news.

I love using this blog for discussion.

I honestly love it when my friends that disagree with me help make me just a little bit smarter, more open minded.

I won't be discussing this one.

  1. I agree, when the family asked that the photo not be used, the AP should have not put it out there. I'm sure that there were a lot of other pictures they could have sent out that would have been just as moving. Now if/when a paper or new outlet uses that image, the family will have to re-live their great sadness.

  2. I agree.

IMHO, the AP person who had such a complete lapse of judgment should be unemployed today.

I doubt that'll happen, but it should.
