I love my hometown in the same way I love my kids.

As a parent I think my job description is simple: Love my kids unconditionally while admitting they aren't perfect (none are) and being fully committed to the task of helping them grow up to be good human beings that realize they aren't perfect and working on improving themselves and their situation and the situations of those they care about. It really is that simple... at least to me.

I got great kids with some flaws that together we are working on and learning to accept what can't be changed.

I love my home town of Hutchinson, Ks in the exact same way.

I love Hutch unconditionally for all the great things it has. There's a ton, I am not gonna list them all. go to whatsuphutch.com if you need a list. But I also realize Hutch has flaws, Hutch can be better, as someone that lives here, I feel it's my responsibility to put some effort into helping fix and improve those things. I am not very good at it... but I try. Because I try... I like (and feel I have a little right) to brag when good things happen. (Just like I do as a moron proud Dad)

I love to Talk about Third Thursdays... we got a great thing going there.

I love to talk about our Downtown... yeah it seems slow at times, but our Downtown never stops moving forward.

All that said ... Nov 1 a really big thing is going down in my hometown.

Details here.

Thanks see ya there!
