Perfect Small Town Use of Social Media...

I love Small Towns, I love how much the people care about each other, yes I know there are downsides, not what this post is about...

This is from a Facebook group from a small town in Kansas that organized the Facebook group to help coordinate fixing up their park.

(I blurred names cause i don't know these particular folks... but the conversation is awesome.)

(if you click center of pic it will get bigger, sorry)

  1. Cody, thanks for posting this! I love this for two reasons. First, I lived in Pratt (another small town) for five years. It really was an experience after having grown up in Hutch. This scenario could have as easily occurred there. Second, when we lived in Pratt, my hubby had a Bassett (Morey). He had gotten out while we were gone & panic set in. Turns out he was s few blocks away @ the senior center where there was a retirement party. He was greeting everyone & scurrying around on the slick floor, running into a drum set of the band that was there. Someone recognized him & let us know!
