Dealing with death...

Last week my Mom's Brother and my Dad's Mother passed away...

Neither were big surprises... neither came as a shock, not that that makes it any easier...

Its never a good thing, but both are done suffering, and that's how the family is looking at it.

I kinda consider myself an amateur psychologist and really enjoy watching people's action in and reactions to certain situations and occurrences in life.

It's amazing the different responses people have to the death of a loved one. I don't think there are any rights and wrongs here and this post will be short so it doesn't have any chance to be perceived as judgmental... I just think it's interesting how different 2 people can react to the exact same situation.

My main lesson learned from dealing with the deaths of friends and loved ones is:

" Live your relationships in a way that when death ends that relationship, you have no regrets..."

Love others in a way that when they are gone... you aren't mad at yourself for not doing something, anything.

I have been on both sides of it and it's way easier to handle a passing when you are at peace with your relationship.

  1. Great read Cody.. Our family has been touched by death more times than I care to remember.. the worst for me was loosing my son on December 8, 1986 and 6 months later my Dad fell over of a heart attack at the young age of 59. I needed therapy for awhile let me tell you. I believe we all go through trials in our lives to build our character and make us who we are. Some of us just have a little more character than we want..
I wanted you to know that my partner Deb cared for your Grandma at the nursing home she was in. Deb enjoyed her time working with your family and said you all were a joy to work with. We are sending our prayers to you in this trying time.. just know you are not alone.. and.. well.. as much as it does completely SUCK.. you are building character..
    Take care buddy..

According to coach wholesale nfl jerseys Jason Garrett, an MRI revealed Bryant cheap nfl jerseys has a slight hairline fracture in his injured right knee. Bryant Nike Air Max 90 went down awkwardly in the first quarter Sunday night against the Chicago Bears, but came back to finish the game. He caught his first touchdown nfl jerseys store pass of the season on a footwork-heavy Nike Air Max 2015 Shoes double-move that seemed to show his knee was in perfect condition.
