My 400th post...

Ok,

So... I haven't written on here in a little over a month... no legit reason, been busy, but no matter how busy I am it still pisses me off at me when I don't take the time to write some stuff down...

Tam and I took the family here last week....

We are back... so you missed your chance to rob our house...

I have 2 really exciting (to me) projects launching in my work world right now... so that's a legit (not -really) reason I haven't written in a while. I love what I do for work. I love that I did a lot of shit that I didn't love to get to the point that I really do love where I am at right now. But... I am still pissed at myself for not blogging more.

I started a gluten-free diet... not as a fad diet, I was told by some legit people that it might help with my sinus/allergy issues. ( I sneeze on average 3562 times a week) ... If you have any input our suggestions on that... I would love to hear it... It kinda seems to be working... but I don't know for sure.

Anyhow I am making a commitment to get back to blogging regularly.. even though I can't define regularly... but, I'm gonna try.

Life is pretty good... here's hoping your's is too or at least it's headed that way.

  1. Okay now I need to know why that type of diet would help? Have any back up for this theory or truth which ever it is? Seriously not joking I am really interested as to why. I have had surgery and everything and nothing helps my allergies or sinuses. I have even had yrs worth of wkly allergy shots.

  3. Here I go again jacking something from Cody to get at my lectern to talk about gluten-free diets. :)

When we talk about it effecting something like your sinuses it may be because of an allergy to the gluten. Since you have allergies you understand how your body responds to an allergen. http://www.livestrong.com/article/351439-gluten-free-diet-for-sinus-infections/

The other way that gluten could effect your sinuses is because you have an intolerance to gluten which is different from an allergy. It is an autoimmune disorder, diabetes is probably the most recognizable autoimmune disorder. Gluten attacks your intestines and believe it or not a lot of our overall well being is tied to our intestines. Gluten is also an inflammatory. The large majority of us can tolerate gluten with no side effects, the same way the majority of us can eat red meat, which is also an inflammatory. For those with an intolerance their bodies can't deal with it. A lot of doctors won't test for gluten intolerance if you don't have extreme digestive issues. But you can view some of the symptoms and resulting issues here http://www.celiac.com/articles/1106/1/Celiac-Disease-Symptoms/Page1.html

Now there are two different things you can do if you want to see if the gluten free diet would work for you. The first is to just try it. Give it a full month of a strict gluten free diet and see if you feel better. If that's your route start here with the list of things you can't have http://www.celiac.com/articles/182/1/Unsafe-Gluten-Free-Food-List-Unsafe-Ingredients/Page1.html
The other thing is go in and get blood work done, I'm not sure what the panel is called for sure but it will test iGa levels in your blood.

  5. The Dallas Cowboys once again find themselves in Nike Roshe Run a prickly Nike Free Run position when it comes to their superstar NFL Jerseys wide receiver Dez Bryant and a lower body injury. According to coach wholesale nfl jerseys Jason Garrett, an MRI revealed Bryant cheap nfl jerseys has a slight hairline fracture in his injured right knee. Bryant Nike Air Max 90 went down awkwardly in the first quarter Sunday night against the Chicago Bears, but came back to finish the game. He caught his first touchdown nfl jerseys store pass of the season on a footwork-heavy Nike Air Max 2015 Shoes double-move that seemed to show his knee was in perfect condition.
