Loft living is for them, yet nothing in downtown Hutchinson comes near this--except for the space in the Wiley building. Problem is it would take about 10 million to convert it---1 million a floor. And then to recoup the investment these would need to average $250,000 a unit with 4 units per floor. Parking could be configured on floors 1 - 3 leaving 6 floors for living. Son&#39;t think Hutch would go for this type of housing given the costs. Make it CIty Hall. What the heck does that mean? I don't want to leave it up to the PMS (pale, male, stale) to have another crummy, ugly, uninspired city building in Hutch. This is a chance to demonstrate some vision and leadership on behalf of our city leaders. I don't trust them to come up with it on their own. Maybe my ego needs a check.
