It helps my moods too. The random dancing is essential to my welcome being. My kids used to enjoy it, now oldest is emabarrassed by me, wont stop me, she will come back around.

I would describe myself as a music junkie so I know what you are saying! I actually spend an hour or more a day looking for new music, or at least music that's new to me. Some of my recent finds are:
Ain't no rest for the wicked by Cage the Elephant (rock)
These old shoes by Deer Tick (country/rock)
Lust by The Raveonettes (rock/dance)
Tremendous dynamite by Eels (rock/blues)
Little bit by Lykke Li (dance/rock)

Cody, I don't know how you did it, but you just put in words tonight what I was thinking and could have never done myself. If you look back at my tweets tonight, you will see a part of me that I allowed my twitter followers to see and learn about me that I could or would not have any spoken (or tweeted)ever. Very few people know me, the real me, and I have taken a stand to be REAL. And somehow music helps me to be me. Whether its a song that says what I wish I had the courage to say. Or possibly a song that brings back memories of past times. Or perhaps its the song that reminds of who I really am and have fought so long to hide. Anyway, I am fighting back tears knowing that this music revolution for me is life changing. Which could be good or it could be bad; depending upon the perspective. But it is real. and I feel it. and I thank you. Blessings, my friend.

Music totally helps my moods! If I am bum'd I have a fav, my kids and I will randomly bust out dancing in the kitchen while I am cooking a lot. Music makes me happy!
